i think it's important to share my experience during my jpa interview here. This is because i had a view for those who share their experience in their blog and also students forum these few days and it help me a lot.i hope my experience could help those who will present in jpa's interview in future...
well,my mind totally filled with stress and panic in this morning because i didn't know what type question they ll asking for..im depart almost around 10am and before im stepped out from my house, my dearest mom ask me to pray first, haha.. my dad fetch me went there.
after 30 minutes, we arrived at USIM. and we got wrong place at first, luckily there's a young man guide us to went for interview place (library)...i thought that they must be lots of interviewee before (where i got that from others blog or forum), but actually there's least people there ! im shocked whether true or not im interview there... the guard asked me to go first floor of library for registration...it was silence there (sure la because it's library marr..) and only 3 interviewee were waiting there and others arrived then.. there's 3 panel , and im second panel ... after registration , we knew each other and talk there and my fear lost suddenly !
around 11.50am , the secretary call us enter the room for interview ... and the war started !
firstly , we greet with interviewer (3 ladies : 1 indian, 2 malays) then they told us to have a sit there.. then start our interview session ( they didn't introduce themselves as well)..
1. cuba perkenalkan diri awak, bagi nama, tempat berasal , cita-cita, apa bidang yg dipilih dan kenapa ?
nama saya XXX dan saya berasal dari Jenjarom. Saya menamatkan persekolahan di Smk Jenjarom . Umur saya 18 tahun dan cita-cita saya ingin menjadi seorang ahli farmasi. ini merupakan cita-cita saya sejak kecil lagi ! saya amat berharap untuk mendapat tajaan jpa supaya saya boleh mendapat ilmu dalam bidang dan kemudian berkhidmat di Malaysia.
2. what's country did u choose to continue your study ? and why u choose it ?
I choose Australia to continue my study there . Because there are a good place and i can share with them about cultures in malaysia eg chinese , malay and indian. i also agree to the point that mention by XXX that i can gain a lots of experiences from there and bring back knowledge to serve in malaysia as well, i can give advice for patient and educate them to use medicine in correct way and also i can share my knowledge with those who study locally..thank you.
3. Will you continue your master or work abroad ?
well, sure i will back to malaysia, because here is my motherland and i want to serve at here as well.. the government had sponsor us to go abroad for study, then once i finish my study there, i will back to m'sia and serve at here because the value of gratitude is very important ! ( something like that )
4. What's your opinion for health supplements ? for example vitamin .
well, i think maintain healthy lifestyle is more important compare to that. for example we have to eat 3 meals everyday which is breakfast, lunch, and dinner. if we take oily food then again we take health supplements , do you think it can recover back our body health ?(such crazy example i think ) besides we also need to exercise and maintain other healthy lifestyle..
5. will you accept local university if u're offered for that ?
Sure i will accept, because it's offer by government . i think it's a valuable chance for me if i get it. and my family cannot supply for me to study either in abroad or local private university..
Then the interviewer said : okay , finish !fourth of us shocked, that our interview are actually finish already... we shout yeah , and laugh as well...it's around 12.30pm... lol, so early i thought, haha
there's no any group discussion for us, all of us just answered individually..lastly, i think i didn't perform well because my English speaking is quite broken, and also my chance to get this jpa's scholarship is very low... so just considering it as one of valuable experience in my life, at least i had participated it ! good luck for you Dexi !
